I created this high-fidelity app design prototype to bridge the gaps between food app dreams and reality–getting inspired by recipes while providing real-life meal plans and shopping experience assistance with realistic prices.
Inspired by a mixture of Pinterest, Instacart, and recipe apps, the idea of plateful is that users will be able to browse beautiful recipes while the system works to generate a grocery list for them based on their eating interests. Users can also input their allergies and restrictions in order to have an easier grocery buying experience with the help of plateful’s advice and generated lists, customized to grocery store, pricing, and other preferences.
